| Dear Ask A Man, I have been married 19 years, and sex has always been a big part of our life. About 1yr. ago things declined, but we all get older, now he's not even interested. He's more interested in female wrestling than anything else. How do I get his attention on me, or do I just screw a dildo for the rest of my life? ~ Frustrated, AU |

Dear Frustrated, Talk to him, one of the sexiest things is a woman that talks openly about sex. Let him know that you miss your sexual relationship, heck dress up like a female wrestler and tackle him if you have to. Make the conversation light and fun, don't come off too serious or make him feel like there is something wrong with him. There could be something bothering him and that's what is affecting his sex drive. Be very supportive, let him know that you will be there for him and that you both will work through the issue together. Guys have very short attention spans, he may just need a little nudge in the right direction. |
Hi There Frustrated, After 19 years even the most exciting things can start to feel like old hat. That does not necessarily mean things are over, or they can't be as good as they once were. You just need to find a way to spice things up and make them fresh again. Maybe if you're up for it, dressing up like one of the female wrestlers that he likes so much might get his attention. Hi Frustrated, Thought about joining a female wresting team? In all seriousness, as we get older our interest in sex does decline. However with that said, I know many women who have let themselves fall by the wayside, so to speak. I'm not saying you have to look like Cindy Crawford, but if you care about yourself, it comes across to us. Passion in a relationship needs to be worked on everyday, especially in a long term one. The next time he's watching wrestling "screw your dildo" in front of him! |
