| Dear Ask A Man, I have been married for just over a year. During the courtship my husband was romantic, sexual, charming and pursued me. Since the marriage, he no longer flirts, never wants to have sexual intercourse, and shows no interest in me whatsoever. I have to ask for sex, and then I feel like nothing more then an obligation. He won't even kiss me. If he hugs me, it's a pat on the back.In public he makes very sexual suggestions about his stamina, size and other women. I'm very pretty with a slim body, I have a great job. I've never had problems meeting men, so why doesn't my husband want me? ~ L.J. from New England |

Dear L.J., Has something changed at his job? Or in his life? Sometimes a big career change for the worse will cause men to become depressed. When it comes to courtship, most guys like the thrill of the chase, but once they catch their quarry, it no longer excites them. Have you tried talking to him about it? If he isn't responsive to working this out, you may need to either get a vibrator, or a new man. |
Hey L.J., Sometime men just get bored with the same old thing. Perhaps it's time to spice things up a bit. Maybe see if there is anything that you can bring into your sex life that might get his attention. He might like it if you do something a little bit kinky, like dress up in a costume (a nurse? a cheerleader? a Catholic school girl?) or tie him to the bed. Sometimes just trying something new is all it takes. Scott, 30 Something... |

Hi L.J., I hate to say it, but men are all about the chase, the courtship. Once we have the object of our desire, we tend to get "comfortable". We don't need to impress you anymore, but we still need to impress our friends. I think your going to have to entice him. Put on some sexy lingerie or get a full brazilian and walk into the living room naked. You get the idea. |
