| Dear Ask a Man, My man is very self conscious about the small size of his penis. I always try to reassure him that it's ok and I always try to give him a lot of attention in that area. How do I make him feel better about that? ~ Name Withheld by Request |
| I find that many women tend to be silent while giving oral satisfaction to their men. If your silent, try and be more vocal about how much you enjoy his manhood, or when you are having intercourse, vocalize the fact that you enjoy having him inside you. Be creative with terms, don't be shy to talk a little dirty. Try gasping slightly or breathing deeply (not too obviously) when he gets undressed and you first see his penis. Men are from mars and women are from venus. Women tend to think a little more about certain things than most men do. Most men that I know don't assume much. They believe it when they hear it. If your man is like this, he won't assume you think he is large enough until you actually say it, or express it. Simon, 20 Something... |
Lots of guys have insecurities, he may have viewed porn and saw the giants that they use in porn. Plus probably not exposed to other guys much in this prude day and time---some guys say they shower in their boxers! I'd say you need to get naked when you can, not to just have sex, but to just be naked and get him used to being nude and accepting of his body. If he was afraid for you to see his penis, he is really shy. As to size issues, heck, measure him and then show him websites where it shows the average length is 5 to 6 inches. Hopefully he is over 5! Good luck.. Scott, 30 Something... |

I don't think you can. Society seems to have made penis size the be all and end all. We have always been lead to believe that unless your 8" plus you will never be able to please women. So yes, size matters, to everyone. Alfred, 50 Something... |
