General Background:
Hmm what can I say besides the fact that I have had a pretty normal past. Growing up in Rio was easy. My parents have never had any money problems and they live in a good town. I went to a public school and had a lot of friends. As I got older and became a teenager though, my parents started to worry about the kids I was hanging out with. I don't blame them because most of the kids in my school came from bad backgrounds, the rougher areas of Rio. When I was 16 my uncle Marco left us to come here to the states. He had been offered a job as an engineer. We were all very happy for him and I think my mother secretly already had a plan worked out in her head. After three years of Marco having been gone, I got a letter from him offering for me to come live in San Francisco with him. He thought maybe I could go to university here or even get into a trade school. My English was always good at school so language would not be an issue for me. My parents and two sisters could not have been more excited, although they were sad to see me go, I think they all knew that if I stayed in Rio I was going to get myself into a lot of trouble. Two of my best friends had been recruited into a gang and even though I wasn't part of it, I was not keeping good company. I was very nervous about coming here but I also saw the States as a new beginning, a place where I could be or become anything. So at twenty I went to Peru and got on a boat, making my way here.

I started to apprentice under my Uncle, taking night courses the whole time. Soon enough I was working as an assistant to my uncle and eventually, after many many years of hard work, I became an engineer as well. America seemed so huge to me, so different from home. People here were always rushing, always busy and the fast pace was a nice change compared to Rio.

There wasn't time for me to get into trouble, I concentrated hard on my work to not disappoint my uncle who had taken me under his wing. I went home every three years to visit my family, each time wanting to come back here rather than staying there. I still live in San Francisco, although I have live in New York, Los Angeles and Washington. I guess I just fell in love with this city the first time I set eyes on it and its beautiful bridge. Even though I only came here at twenty, this city is my home and I don't think I'll ever move anywhere else again!

What I Look For In A Woman:
I have two four year old daughters from a previous relationship that ended on extremely good terms, so the main thing I look for in a women is a love of children. My girls are the world to me so it's very important that they get along with whoever I am dating. That being said, I don't look for a replacement mother or a perfect, sinless woman. I like someone who has two sides; one which is good with family and morals, and the other side that is naughty and loves being alive! I guess I am looking for someone like myself in that manner. Because even though I love my kids and I think I am a good dad to them, I do need to have a life besides them. When I am not working or spending time with the girls I love to go out dancing. You can see a lot about someone from how they dance. The way they move their body, their rhythm, both of these things can tell you how this person sees themselves, how much confidence they have. I love a woman with a lot of confidence, not vanity. I don't take myself too seriously and would love a woman who is the same and who can laugh at herself.

Hobbies:
I don't have much time for hobbies unless you count my nights out dancing in the clubs. Since my girls are starting to get a bit older I've just started taking them camping and walking in the woods. I like doing this, spending time outdoors with them. I've also started to teach them how to play soccer, as you call it here. Every Sunday I meet some of my friends and their families in a park and we all play together. Sometimes our kids play with us, sometimes no. We all bring food for a picnic and just spend the day together. It's nice, it always reminds me of our big family suppers in Rio. Besides playing soccer and doing things with my girls, I really don't do much else. I work a lot but I plan on, when my girls are older, traveling a lot more with them. They have already been to Brazil with me but I would like to show them more of the world, like to take them to Europe or even just up to Canada since I have yet to go there. So I guess you could say that raveling is going to be my future hobby.

Favorite Experience:

My favorite experience is tied closely with my first year in San Francisco and my first American love. Within my first year here I met a girl and as all twenty years olds, quickly fell in love. Although my English was good, I was not familiar with the local sayings and slang words. Erica, my first girlfriend here, was great at teaching me these new words and helped me a lot at getting adjusted to this totally new city. Anyways so my fondest memory of her was the first time we slept together. I was far from being a virgin, but Erica, how do the kids say it today? right... popped my American cherry! She was the first English girl but I had thought nothing of this matter until we first slept together. I was so taken aback by the language she used while we were having sex! I had never heard half of the words she used! And after all was said and done She sat in bed with me while I asked her what each word had meant. I'll never forget the way she blushed and giggled as I got her to explain what she had been saying, I don't think she had even realized that she herself had said half of those dirty words to me while we had been doing it! Even better though was teaching her some Portuguese words of passion and hearing her in her horrible accent say those words later on in bed!
