General Background:

I grew up in a small town called Greenburg in Kansas. My father owned a farm and my brothers and I helped our father work the land from a very young age. We loved the serene atmosphere of our surroundings. The few times we visited large cities always left my brothers with a claustrophobia that made them appreciate the wide open spaces of our home. For me though, the big cities seemed enchanted, full of opportunity mystery, and delights I had never even begun to imagine. In 2007 disaster struck our town, a tornado left us and our lives devastated - For me though it seemed like a sign. I took the opportunity to travel and explore the country - I decided to make a straight line east and it took me straight into the heart of San Francisco. A city full of acceptance and people who seemed to be as eager as I to explore themselves in a multitude of ways. A hard life of farming gave me a body that seemed to be desired by many people I met, and it helped me to forge a lifestyle full of sexual adventurism and diversity. It is a little bit difficult to apply the skills I learned working on my father's farm - living in the city, but I am content in my work in construction, I still love using my hands, and it keeps me active and healthy - I can't imagine a life that didn't involve loads of physical activity.

What I Look For In A Woman:

I used to think I always knew exactly what I wanted, but after moving to San Francisco I learned that diversity is the name of the game for me. I appreciate all kinds of different interests, and I especially love when a woman has an interest in something that I previously had not, this affords me the oppurtunity to explore these new things all the time. I must say that I do find myself drawn to women that are very assertive, and confident. I love a woman that tells me what she wants! I also do tend to find myself particularly attracted to brunettes - I guess because growing up there were never many blondes in our town (if any!) - so I guess seeing a beautiful brunette with deep hazel eyes gives me a piece of home and comfort.

Hobbies:

I love all things physical (hint hint!) - but seriously, I love sports...I grew up playing baseball in the summer, football in the fall, and hockey in the winter. I run on a daily basis with my dog Rex, and absolutely love getting lost in big forests on my bike. I also have a passion for old movies - give me a sunday afternoon watching nothing but vintage films and eating Rice Crispies, and I'm yours for life!

Favorite Experience:

It's hard to pin point one favorite experience in a lifetime full of wonderful experiences. I must say that one that completely sticks out when I sit and think about it is a few days after I moved to San Francisco I somehow got lucky enough to have almost instantly become friends with a big group of people. I had been sitting in a cafe reading and hoping to maybe strike up a conversation with someone - when the big group across the cafe told this joke...i still remember it to this day! (you can find the joke after this paragraph) Anyway - I burst out laughing uncontrollably from across the cafe when he nailed the punch-line with laser comedic timing. I guess they noticed I had made a bit of a bozo of myself so to make me not feel so awkward they invited me over to join their table, and after I shyly declined several times they came over and took my coffee and magazine I was reading and coaxed me over to their table. it made me feel so welcome in a big new city - a foreign scary place instantly became warm and welcoming. This was probably one of the best experiences of my life.

Joke:

For the first time in many years, a an old man traveled from his rural town to the city to attend a movie. After buying his ticket, he stopped at the concession stand to purchase some popcorn. Handing the attendant $1.50, he couldn't help but comment, "The last time I came to the movies, popcorn was only 15 cents." "Well, sir," the attendant replied with a grin, "You're really going to enjoy yourself. We have sound now.."
