Submission Guidelines

Sssh.com is always looking for member contributions! If you write stories, articles or poetry, are a photographer with interesting images to share, or have a "true confession" you would like to have published on the site, we are happy to support your creative endeavors

- How do I submit a story, article, poem, true confession or photography to Sssh.com?
First, read our Submission Guidelines. This will greatly improve your chances of being published. Once you've done so, you can submit directly from this link. We also accept Audio Stories! If you would like to record your story, poem or true confession and send it to us! Read about this below in the Submission Guidelines.

If you have difficulty with the Submission Form (if you are a WebTV user, you may be unable to submit via the form), you may send the story to us this way:

Attach the text or the pictures to an email directed to submit@sssh.com. Important: make the subject of the email the same as the title of the story so that we can more easily match your submission to your profile.

Submission Guidelines

If you're reading this, you most likely have an erotic story, article, poem, photography or true confession you'd like to share with our readers. We happily consider all subject matter, but only if they follow the guidelines as presented here. Please take the time to read through this before submitting, as it will help you see your work published on the web much sooner.

By submitting a story to Sssh.com, you certify the following stipulations to be true:

* You are the sole creator of the submission;
* You are 18 years of age or older and legally able to write, submit and read erotic or pornographic material;
* You grant Sssh.com the right to publish your submission as received by Sssh.com.
* In the case of photography, you MUST certify the anyone shown in the images is over the age of 18 and consents to have these images published.

1. Be sure your story has a sexual or romantic theme.

2. No sexual activity involving bestiality (you can write stories about supernatural beasts like ghosts, unicorns, werewolves, etc.) or underage persons will be considered. For the purposes of this site, the minimum legal age is 18.

3. We do not currently accept submissions under 750 words.

4. All manuscripts must be submitted as via the site scripts as Word files (.doc), text files (.txt) or Rich Text Files (.rtf), or pasted into the submission form. If your story uses bolds or italics, you will need to submit it as a .doc or .rtf.

5. In the case of photography, all images must be in .JPG format with a file size no larger than 100 kilobytes.

6. In the case of Audio Stories, please send us encoded files in either Windows Media (.WMA) or RealAudio (.RM) format. Please keep the file size below 1 megabyte.

7. Run your manuscript through a spell checker and then read it over for anything the spellchecker missed before submitting. This should eliminate the majority of errors which might cause a manuscript to be rejected. We expect submissions to come to us ready for the public. Stories with obvious spelling and grammatical errors are poorly received by readers. Even spell-checking your work with a software program can make the difference in whether readers like or dislike your work. In the case of photography, please do not submit anything crud or blatantly obscene. Our readers are looking for romance and adventure, not bad porn!

We encourage both seasoned and first-time writers and photographers to submit their work, and do not expect grammatical and structural perfection in every piece. Photographers - if needed, we will do a bit of color correction to make your works look the best that they can be!

8. Please break your story into reasonably sized paragraphs. Reading on a screen is different from reading from a book or magazine, as the flicker from computer monitors is tiring on the eye. Excessively long paragraphs are hard on readers' eyes. We retain the right to edit for length and clarity.

9. If you have specialty formatting requests, such as the need for bolds or italics in certain parts, PLEASE LET US KNOW in a note at the top of the story. Otherwise, all special formatting will be stripped from the stories before posting.

10. No HTML links or web addresses are allowed within stories.

11. Manuscripts and Photos are copyrighted in the name of the author. This means you must be the author of any manuscript or photo you submit.

Now you know what we want from you, but what do you get out of this? The first question is always about payment. As a women's community site, Sssh.com does not pay for manuscripts or photography from our members. Of course, your story under your name is inducement enough for many. We do, however, purchase content from professional writers and photographers on a regular basis. If you feel you have created a work that would be of interest to us, contact us!
